Gundersen St. Joseph’s Elroy Clinic

HSR was proud to partner on the Gundersen St. Joseph’s Clinic in Elroy, Wisconsin. HSR provided the design services for the 8,991 SF clinic located in the heart of the Downtown. Taking inspiration from the neighboring buildings, the exterior façade design compliments the downtown area, while incorporating some modern features. The design team aligned the east façade of the building with the sidewalk which also reinforces the downtown main street presence. The clinic includes a lobby area, exam rooms, offices, pharmacy and a community/conference room. The facility was designed with sustainability in mind and is Gundersen’s first 100% on site net zero building. This includes 16 geothermal wells that heat and cool the building, as well as solar panels on the roof that will produce more energy in a year than the building uses in that period.
